Work has been slow on stripping the Midget as I’ve been doing other task to create some space in the workshop.\u00a0 Today I’ve finally stripped the last of the easily removable stuff from the chassis and there are just a few clips and bits left in place – plus the window glass and mechanisms.<\/p>\n

The body is in a bad way and there is plenty of evidence of a bodged refurb that I suspect was done about 10 years ago.\u00a0 Plenty of hard filler in the floor pan to cover the holes and lots of underbody seal to hide the bodge.<\/p>\n

I’ve been buying new panels ( sills, floor pans and cross members ) but more are required. Just glad there is no race against time to get this done.<\/p>\n
